Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and performer. Her most well-known roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. Her primary focus is as an actor. Music is her first love, she maintains; it is something she has dabbled into when she was just nine years old. At the age of 12 years old, music was significant enough that she was able to begin professional training. When she was 13, she started writing her own songs. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years later. From that point on, there's been nothing but positive. Orrantia is a native of America who has Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the United States. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs that are in Spanish. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she has recorded, is an example. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia was selected from the submission of a YouTube video and was awarded four "yes" no votes by the jury at the time of live auditions in Seattle, Washington. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were placed into a group for the rest in the selection process. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live performances.
